The SA01 Campus gives operators direct grid access and 347 acres to grow into, clear of the land and power constraints that limit Texas's primary metros. Power arrives in phases, beginning in 2028 and scaling to 1.2 GW, with a clear runway from first energization to full capacity.

Phased to match demand
Phase I delivers 575 MW by summer 2028. Phase II adds 625 MW after 2030, bringing the campus to 1.2 GW. Each phase scales without disrupting the last.

Direct 345 kV interconnection to AEP's Red Creek station, with dual 345 kV circuits and N+1 electrical infrastructure.
Clear, zoned, and ready
347 acres annexed into the City of San Angelo with data-center zoning by-right, on land that sits clear of the floodplain.
We know a campus this big raises questions.
A 1.2 GW campus is a major addition to any community, and a project this size should invite hard questions. In SA01, water came first, as it should in West Texas.
So we designed it.
The campus uses air-cooled, closed-loop chillers, which keep its draw on local water low even as it scales to 1.2 GW. We keep working with residents and local officials as the project moves ahead.
Development Timeline
We've secured the land, zoning, and an AEP letter agreement for 575 MW of power. Power is delivered in phases, on a defined schedule from first energization to full capacity.
